Job Summary:
The Administrative Nursing Coordinator is responsible for coordinating the delivery of nursing services throughout the hospital during evening and night shifts. This role ensures adherence to defined standards of nursing practice and patient care through effective management, communication, and problem-solving skills. The coordinator promotes career development, teamwork, and professional growth among staff while maintaining positive relationships with patients, visitors, and employees. Responsibilities include implementing hospital policies, addressing staffing needs, monitoring hospital codes, and ensuring compliance with ethical standards and patient safety protocols.

Required Qualifications:
- Minimum of two (2) years’ experience in a leadership role, preferably in a healthcare setting.
- Critical thinking and decision-making skills.
- Proficiency in Excel and Word.
- Knowledge of quality improvement models and tools.
- Competency in applicable clinical specialty.
- Demonstrated commitment to professional growth.
- Strong oral and written communication skills.
- Current NY State RN License.
- Basic Life Support (BLS) certification.
- Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) certification.
- Certification in area of specialty.

Preferred Qualifications:
- Master’s degree in Nursing.
